Accounts payablefor x402.

Your agents pay for GPUs, data and APIs over x402. Elix checks every payment before it is signed, books it when it settles, and catches the vendor who bills it again on an invoice.

The demo

The Elix Reconcile screen with the Lumen invoice line that bills 600 hours already paid over x402 highlighted.
Recorded from the working console, with captions and no sound.Kestrel Labs is a fictional company. Settlement in the demo is simulated.

Every x402 payment, from request to reconciled. The work of an accounts payable clerk and a spend approver, done for agents.

Checked before it is signed against the budget, the cap and whoever owns them.

600 H100 spot hours from Lumen Compute for the hail-v7 retrain.Task hail-v7-train-1009

Elix

That comes to $1,260.00, which is over Forge's $200 limit without review. Dev Okafor owns this budget, so it went to him.

Dev Okafor, head of ML

Approved for the weekend retrain.

Paid 1,260.00 USDC over x402. Signature verified.

Matched against the invoice so a vendor cannot bill the same hours twice.

Real

  • The policy engine, double entry ledger and hash chained audit log
  • x402 payment requests and EIP-3009 signatures, made and verified with Coinbase's official x402 SDK
  • Claude agents, whenever an Anthropic API key is set

Simulated

  • Kestrel Labs, its people, vendors and three months of history
  • USDC settlement in offline mode, which moves balances on a local ledger instead of Base
  • Bank payments by ACH

Give any agent a wallet it cannot overspend.

Elix runs as an MCP server, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop or any MCP client can route its purchases through it. The agent gets seven tools to ask, check and explain. It gets no tool to approve or to pay, and the gateway holds the only key.

Let your agents pay. Keep the books.

Elix is looking for design partners whose agents already pay for APIs, data or compute over x402 or usage based billing. Tell us where to reach you and roughly what your agents spend.
